Santa Farma Appoints Hakan Gürel as the Business Development Director

Santa Farma Pharmaceuticals, one of the most prominent and robust domestic pharmaceutical companies in Turkey, announced that Hakan Gürel was assigned as the Business Development Director to be effective as from April 3, 2023.


Having assumed a number of positions in leading Turkish companies since 2005, Hakan Gürel acted as the Export and Out-licensing Manager in charge of Sales and Marketing at Abdi İbrahim İlaç Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. between 2017 and 2020 before assuming the position of Strategy, Business Development and International Markets Director at Humanis Sağlık A.Ş. in 2020.


Having received a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from İzmir Institute of Technology and master’s degree in Engineering Management from Boğaziçi University, Gürel is currently pursuing his studies for Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering at Istanbul University.
