A FIRST in Türkiye! With the support of Santa Farma, the "Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Technology" associate degree program was officially established within Kocaeli University!

As Santa Farma, in line with our goal to train qualified human resources and strengthen university-industry collaboration, we are proud to take a historic step for our industry!

The "Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Technology" associate degree program within Kocaeli University Vocational School, to which we have provided academic and strategic support since its initial stages, was officially approved by YÖK and established!

With this structure, which holds the title of being the first sector-oriented specialization program among universities in Türkiye;

Structurally distinct from traditional chemistry education, we designed an independent area of specialization that fully serves the international standards of the pharmaceutical industry (GMP/GLP).

Thanks to the Workplace Vocational Training (İME) model, we will enable students to experience their theoretical knowledge directly in our production facilities, under real manufacturing conditions.

With this model, where experienced industry professionals will contribute as "Guest Lecturers," we will train experts who are "ready to work" without the need for an orientation process.

Our Human Resources Director, Sema Yetkiner, stated, "This program, which we have implemented together with Kocaeli University, will bring competent, certified, and practically experienced human capital demanded by national and international standards to the Turkish pharmaceutical industry," while our Plant Director, Vedat Özbek, commented on the subject, "Thanks to the Workplace Vocational Training (İME) model, our students will have the opportunity to reinforce their theoretical knowledge with production floor conditions even before graduating."

Drawing strength from our well-established history of over 80 years, we continue to create value for human health and qualified human capital with determination.
