Santa Farma Pharmaceuticals organized a special event titled “Take Good Care of Your Heart” in celebration of World Heart Day on September 29. The event emphasized the importance of heart health in daily life and shared valuable information aimed at promoting healthier lifestyle habits. In addition, a donation made to the Turkish Heart Foundation on behalf of Santa Farma employees made this meaningful day even more special.

With over 80 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and its guiding principle of “healthy service for health,” Santa Farma continues to carry out initiatives that not only contribute to public health but also support employee well-being.

As part of the “Take Good Care of Your Heart” initiative, Santa Farma held an informative internal session to raise awareness about cardiovascular health. The company also made a donation to the Turkish Heart Foundation, reinforcing its commitment to improving heart health awareness not only within the organization but also in society at large.

The event featured a presentation by Prof. Dr. A. Altuğ Çinçin, Vice Dean of the Department of Cardiology at Marmara University Faculty of Medicine, who discussed key topics such as the role of heart health in daily life, the impact of risk factors like hypertension and stress, healthy nutrition recommendations, and simple yet effective steps to protect heart health. Santa Farma employees who attended the seminar had the opportunity to gain both scientific insights and practical tips to help maintain their cardiovascular health in everyday life.

Highlighting the company’s growing focus on cardiology, Beyzanur Değirmenci Ergül, Senior Corporate Communications Specialist at Santa Farma Pharmaceuticals, emphasized the strategic importance of investments and awareness initiatives in this field, stating:
